Following in the footsteps of the first three highly successful and sold out For the Luv of It Youth!, Carla Catherwood of CMC Entertainment is proud to present the fourth annual "For the Luv of It Youth! at the Granville Island Theatre in Vancouver, BC on Sunday January 11thth, 2009 at 5:00PM. This showcase is for youth, both individual and groups, currently studying and performing in the entertainment fields of dance, voice, acrobatics, comedy, acting and MC.

This is a rare opportunity for these chosen youth, aged 8 to 18, to perform, rather than compete, and, to get a chance to be seen by many of Vancouver's top industry professionals including working choreographers, agents, casting directors, management companies, record producers, movie and music video producers, directors and local hiring production companies. Some of our previous performers were picked up by agents and have worked in commercials, TV spots and feature films.

Hosting for the evening will be DJ Alibaba. CMC Entertainment has also arranged for special guest performances by professionals in the biz. Several honorary scholarships will be given out to individual performers who stand out, not only with their performance, but also their professionalism, their dedication and their drive.

Audition date is Sunday November 16th, 2008@ Scotia Bank Dance Centre -677 Davie St, Vancouver http://www.thedancecentre.ca/ from 10:00 AM to 6:00PM. Audition times are strictly by pre-scheduled appointment only.

Audition time will be booked on a first come first serve basis. No late requests please. Numbers do not have to be finished at the time of the audition, but will have to be complete at the time of the show. Performers can perform a number from last year’s repertoire.

For the audition, all performers are asked to supply as much promotional material as possible, such as pictures, bio's, video clips, mp3 clips. All promotional material will not be returned to the performer/s. Promotional material for the selected performers will be uploaded onto the website @ www.fortheluvofit.com prior to the show.

Please note there is NO fee for auditioning. This show is being put on to showcase top performers in their field, and selection will be based on talent, professionalism and performance quality. However due to costs of the production for the show and the size of the venue, all performers will be required to pay a Registration fee of $16.00 per performer. All performers will receive a free ticket to watch the show when they are not on stage.

For the audition it is mandatory the performer/s be accompanied by a designated adult representative.

It is the responsibility of the adult representative to bring to the audition:

1. Completed Youth Registration form for each performer/group ( see attachment)

2. Signed release forms for all performers

3. MINIMUM of bio and picture for each performer/group
